From Paul Fink, owner.
Fort Delta is closed until further notice. It is with much sadness that I come to this, after establishing the business and seeing it grow to be a recognised player in the market over 4 years. To have it brought to its knees and have its name so tarnished in less than a year is very sad.
I apologise to artists and customers for the issues you have experienced recently, I am now aware of some of these issues but probably not all of them.
In moving on, the key priority has been to secure the art work that we hold, and to organise the secure return of such works. The plan is to release artwork to the rightful owners for collection in a controlled manner.
We will require appropriate identification to release works to artists, and appropriate authorisation, where third parties are involved in pickup. We will photograph id and works as they are returned.
Artists will be contacted directly to arrange the return of their artwork. Alternatively if you have artwork at the Gallery please send me an email accordingly. firstname.lastname@example.org
The business is not in liquidation nor in the hands of an administrator and thus there are no claims over artwork.
If there is any interest from parties to take on the Fort Delta business, or take over the lease to our Brunswick St space, or to utilise our Capitol Arcade space then please contact me. email@example.com
I personally want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
